What to Include in a Custom Dog Waste Removal Estimate Request
A custom estimate is easier to prepare when the request describes the actual work. ‘A large yard with several dogs’ gives a starting point, but it leaves questions about the areas to search, how to enter them and how often cleanup is needed.
Purge Pros uses a custom-estimate path for properties with 10 or more dogs, more than one acre of cleanup area, and commercial or kennel needs. This checklist helps you explain that scope without pretending a standard residential starting price applies.
List the sections separately
Describe each outdoor area that needs pickup: a main lawn, dog run, side yard, courtyard or shared green space. Note any sections that are excluded. The entire lot size is not automatically the cleanup area; buildings and spaces the team will not service should be distinguished.
If you have a simple property sketch or an existing area measurement, use it to explain the boundaries. The yard-size guide can help organize an initial estimate. Do not invent precise measurements when you only have a rough idea.
Explain who uses the space
For a household, provide the current number of dogs. For a shared property, explain the kind of use and what is known rather than choosing an arbitrary dog count. A neighborhood walking lawn, fenced dog area and boarding facility are different scopes.
Name the person authorized to approve the work and the best contact for site access. The person requesting information may not be the person who can approve an ongoing agreement. Keep those roles clear before anyone schedules service.
Describe the present condition
Say whether pickup is current or whether waste has accumulated. Mention long grass, leaf cover, gravel, mud, restricted sections or other conditions that affect finding and collecting waste. Photos can help explain layout and access, but avoid including people, license plates or private access codes when they are not necessary.
Separate pet waste from other debris. A request for dog waste pickup should not silently become a request to move construction materials, clear furniture or remove yard debris. If extra work is needed, ask whether it is offered and how it would be quoted.
Ask for the service boundaries in writing
A useful estimate identifies the property, included areas, frequency, waste handling, access arrangements and price basis. If waste stations are involved, ask separately about bag supplies, bin servicing and installation; none should be assumed to be included in lawn pickup. Our shared-space guide explains that distinction.
Include your preferred start period, while leaving room for route review. A requested date is not a confirmed appointment.
Review our dog waste removal options and text (317) 961-5865 or call the team to discuss the custom property. Standard households can begin with the price tool. A clear custom request gives both sides a better basis for agreeing on the work.
